About this site

This site documents what happens when a Ruby developer stops fighting AI and starts shipping with it.

I'm Marcin. I've written Ruby since 2013. I run a software house (Fryga) and serve as CTO at nerds.family. For years, I built features the traditional way: think, type, test, repeat.

In 2024, I tried AI-assisted coding. It failed spectacularly. Claude forgot instructions mid-task. Code quality collapsed. I spent more time reviewing garbage than I would have spent writing it myself. I was ready to quit.

Then I found skills, hooks, and workflows that enforce discipline. The tools hadn't changed. My approach had. Now Claude Code is my IDE. Every feature ships faster than before.

This site shares what I learned:

  • Which techniques work for Rails codebases
  • Which fail
  • Why

No hype. No theory. Concrete methods tested in production.

If you build with Ruby or Rails and want AI to produce code you can actually ship, you're in the right place.
